I just love this time of year because Spring is synonymous with dresses. All of the pretty patterned, vibrant colored, feminine and trendy dresses make their way to the forefront of my wardrobe. They are perfect to wear as the weather warms up and most importantly, they are so easy to style. A dress is an outfit all in one. You don’t have to concern yourself with figuring out what to pair it with besides your accessories. You can literally just put it on and go. That is the true beauty of a dress especially as we head into Summer.

This ruffle midi dress is another great find from Walmart. It is from their Time and Tru brand that features so many key pieces for Spring/Summer. If you recall my last post, I wore a dress from Walmart as well but their Scoop line (another one of my favorites). I actually am re-wearing the shoes that I wore in that post because I love them and thought the red really played off of the blue & white. We all know that dresses are wardrobe staples for this time of year so I have been indulging in some coveted styles. Also, prints and patterns that pop are always on trend. These patterns include florals, stripes, bohemian, botanical and more!

This particular dress really works great with my body type for several reasons. Wrap style dresses really flatter my neckline as well as helping to define the waist. Also, the material is light and airy, which is highlighted by the ruffle details on the neckline, sleeve and hem. It helps the dress to really flow with my body which I just love.
