As you already know, I am an Always Ambassador. I have really enjoyed working with the brand as it has been one of my most meaningful partnerships. The reason for that is the Always and Tampax brands give back to the community in amazing ways. They are not just a company that sells products but they really try to make an impact in the lives of those in need. Last year, I was able to partner with Tampax to donate 40,000 tampons to an organization of my choice as seen in this post. I chose the Midnight Mission in Downtown LA’s Skid Row which has one of the highest homelessness rates in the country. This time around, I’m excited to share a new initiative from Always that is aiming to help #EndPeriodPoverty here in the US.
The Mission
The #EndPeriodPoverty mission is centered around this: nearly 1 in 5 American girls have either left school early or missed school entirely because of a lack of access to period products. This lack of access starts a vicious cycle: missing classes, getting behind in school work and missing out on activities, like sports and clubs. These activities help build her confidence and skills, and missing out can limit a girl’s potential and opportunities far beyond puberty.
This back-to-school season, Always wants to raise awareness about the lack of access to period products that is affecting millions of girls in the U.S., and take action to help #EndPeriodPoverty.
How We Can Help
Always is on a mission to help ensure no girl in the U.S. misses school and loses confidence because she doesn’t have access to period protection. To do so, they are targeting to donate an additional 15 million period products to Feeding America, a long-standing partner, through the organization’s school pantry program, which provides food, toiletries and personal care products to kids who are most in need. In addition, Always is also partnering with Amazon to make a bigger impact for girls this school year.
Every purchase of Always from July 29th to September 8th on Amazon will trigger an additional donation of period product to girls in need.
Donate Through Amazon
Confidence in women and girls is something that I’m passionate about. I know how much confidence in yourself can truly change the way you see the world and how you go through life. I would not be a fraction of what I am had I not had some confidence in myself so I want to get these girls off to a good start. Be sure to order your Always products from Amazon today using this link to support girls all over the country.

What a good cause, Kristen and something I believe in. No one should have to without tampons during their period. This is such a big issue that is often overlooked. I’m so proud that you are supporting such a good cause.
*Kristine Oops! Sorry, I misspelled your name. Autocorrect foiled me again.
Lol no problem!
Thank you so much!
