Wild Expression

For the last couple of months, I have been wearing and reviewing items from Express. If you are not already aware, Express has extended their size range and is now offering up to a size 18 online and in store. You can see my two previous posts here and here. Last month I tried their denim for the first time which I was a little nervous about. A good pair of jeans is hard to find and you never know if a brand is true to size. Since I am typically a size 18 and that is the top of their range, I was anxious to see if they would fit. To my pleasant surprise they not only fit but fit well. They fit me like a glove! To be honest, I have been wearing them ever since and even secured a second pair as you can see here.

I love what they call the Perfect Stretch+ Jeans. The Stretch+ offers more stretch than their other denim which allows for more movement and more comfort. You can check their selection out below. They are also available in petite!

What I love most about posting brands that are now offering our sizes is the ability to express (pun intended) that we have options! It’s not necessarily about buying whatever is new. It’s about letting you know that there are more clothing options available to you so that you can continue to live full lives. A great pair of denim enables me to get from place to place, exploring new things in my city and doing so in a confident way. That’s really what it’s all about. Clothes take you places whether that be trying a new restaurant, or going on a date, or attending a friend’s birthday party. And it all starts with having options.

So thank you Express for extending your sizing. I am excited about the fact that you have clothing in stores as well and not just online. I hope that you continue to expand your size range so that more and more women can express themselves the way they want to.
