I’m super excited to share with you all that Express now has extended sizes! I’m always happy when I can share new clothing options for us plus size girls. Express now carries sizes 00-18 and the best part is, it will be available online as well as in stores. It’s always great when brands not only see the value of extended sizing but also the importance of being able to shop in store. Since I am fairly new shopper with Express, I ordered a good amount of clothing to test things out. I ordered various tops, dress, skirts, etc. so that I can get a good feel of how their line will fit me. Not all sizing is consistent across brands so I wanted to have a good sample size to then be able to share an accurate assessment. I’m happy to report that the fit on almost of the items was great. There was only one dress that was tight in the bust area but that is a problem I face with even plus size brands. I found that their selection was a good mixture of day to night looks as well as basics and everyday essentials. I’ve listed some of my favorites below. I also really appreciated that they have started to integrate plus size models into their website so that we can better assess how the clothes will fit us.
This was one of my favorite looks from my order. I love anything that has ruching in it because I feel like it is so flattering to my frame. I also like the asymmetrical hem and drawstring feature on the skirt. It’s a little shorter than I normally wear but the weather has been heating up here in Los Angeles lately so I know that I will get good wear out of it. Believe or not, this white tee is one of my most liked items from the order as well. I know it is completely basic but it can be difficult to find great basics. The material is super soft and is one of those garments that you can wear with anything. I finished the look off with a faux suede bag also from the line and matching booties that I already owned.

Yes, that’s true that plus size girls really don’t have as many options as the girls with a perfect figure have. So it is a really appreciative thing that Express is taking care of that and consistently revolving its collections for us plus size girls. Thank you.
