An outfit encompasses much more than just clothes as accessories play a big part as well. Purses, jewelry and even stylish eye wear can enhance your look. A little known fact about me is that I actually do wear glasses. Up until now, I’ve worn them only when at home and stuck to wearing my contacts while out and about. That is partly due to the fact that I could never find stylish eye wear that was affordable. So, I just resorted to ordering the most economical option which would often be the pair that really wasn’t cute. And that was the cycle. The lack of affordable options lead to glasses that were not stylish that lead to them just being worn at home and not utilizing them as much as I should. That is until now.
Introducing Zenni
I’ve partnered with a company called Zenni of whom I instantly fell in love with. They offer stylish, well-crafted glasses at great prices. The process of ordering was so simple that I could not believe I hadn’t heard of this company sooner. It’s much like online clothes shopping where you browse through their selection of frames, reading reviews and seeing what catches your eye (pun intended). I know ordering glasses online can seem difficult but they make it so easy. They showcase the frames being worn on an actual person whether that’s from the preview on the side of the screen while you are scrolling through or from the numerous customer uploads. You can even upload your own photo to preview how they will look on your face.
Tips on Ordering Your Stylish Eye Wear
Zenni has a very robust catalogue of frames so it can become a bit overwhelming at first. What I decided to do was sort by the Best Sellers which was extremely helpful. That showed me the most popular frames as well as the most reviews. From there, I was able to narrow it down to my favorites. Then, I simply called my optometrist to get my prescription, saved that in my profile for future purchases and was almost done!
The last step was in process was to measure my PD or pupillary distance. I had no idea what this meant so I googled it. It’s just a fancy term for the distance between your pupils. I later learned that Zenni actually has a video on how to measure your PD but I didn’t know that at the time. My boyfriend assisted by placing a ruler on my face so that he could tell me what the distance is. I converted it to millimeters thanks to the trusty internet and I was officially ready to place my order. The whole process once I selected my frames took no more than 10 minutes.

Why Zenni?
Things that save time and money are huge assets to me. I have a busy schedule so I like to use my time wisely. Whenever I needed a new pair of glasses, I would have to make an appointment with my optometrist, go in and search through the selection that they had there. Then I would have to wait for them to be made with my prescription and go back to the optometrist to pick them up. Talk about an inefficient use of time!
Plus, I never really viewed eye glasses as accessories because I resorted myself to the fact that I would always wear them at home. Zenni has not only put the fun back in eye wear shopping, but they have also proven to be a great resource for quality, affordable frames. I snagged two pairs of glasses each for only $23.95 (including the anti-reflective coating). That is quite literally a fraction of what I was paying before. Now, I am excited to order more frames, even sunglasses to go with my ever-changing style, something I never envisioned myself doing. I would highly recommend trying them out for yourself to start rocking your stylish eye wear!

Kristine, thanks for this information. I to like you wear contacts because I couldn’t find stylish eyewear. But the contacts have been irritating my eyes. This post was definitely right on time. Thank you so much.
