Here I go again with my colorblocking ways. I’ve just come to the realization that I simply cannot help myself. Sometimes, I see two garments and immediately know that the colors will work well together. Half of the time, that’s not even my intention but it just ends up working out that way. However, it really does prove that mixing colors can present endless possibilities. I have used this technique so many different times and each outfit has been unique because of the different shades that I’m use. You can create some unlikely combinations that really work when blended together.
I loved the deep, rich purple tone in the skirt and thought that it would be a great contrast against this khaki green. These are two colors that I would have never thought to put together. I purchased them independently and realized that they could create a great look. These Eloquii skirts are one of my favorites and they have them in a plethora of colors. If you are trying to create your own color combination, I would highly recommend that you start there as the base. Feel free to get creative and think outside the box!

Girl, I’m loving this color palette. I admit, I used to be too matchy-matchy with my fashion color palette. It was only in the last few years that I have learned about color blocking. I personally love it. As for your outfit, I love that outfit. I especially in love with that skirt, that skirt is EVERYTHING! The color is just so fabulous. Thanks for sharing another awesome post.
