Tomorrow is the first day of Fall and the name of the game during this transition period is…Summer styles, Fall colors. And by Fall colors, I mean prints too. If where you live is anything like Los Angeles, temperatures are still warm and even outright hot some days. So while I’m loving all of the Fall garments from faux leather leggings to suede moto jackets, the weather just won’t allow me to go there yet. We are very much still in an “in-between” phase. So, the solution to that is to take full advantage of the Fall color palette, just in breathable and airy styles.
A perfect example of how to get that balance is this look. I actually spotted (pun intended) this skirt on JcPenney’s Instagram account. It was so striking that it made me stop scrolling to find out more about it. I absolutely love the bold print and how it comes in the form of this pleated skirt. What I love most is that while I can style it with an off the shoulder top and strappy high heels now, I can also easily transition this to cooler weather. An edgy moto jacket with a sleek pair of booties is a stylish alternative for the months to come.
As always, be sure to check out the outfit details below and let me know what you think in the comments!

I really love this skirt. It is gorgeous in person. I purchased it on this past Sunday and was pleasantly surprised to get it for $ 20. Plus tax by using the honey coupon app and ordering online and pickup in store. Thank you Kristine for your outfit inspirations and keep up the good work.
