Rainbow Sherbert

I missed National Ice Cream Day but this look is as “sherbert chic” as they come. I personally prefer butter pecan over any other flavor, but that’s neither here nor there. This outfit has Summer written all over it. The colors just remind me of a big ol’ scoop of rainbow sherbert ice cream (hence the name) on top of a sugar cone. Kimonos are one my favorite pieces to wear especially during this time of year. I have so many different prints and color combinations. However, I don’t have anything quite like this. This kimono is such a fun & vibrant statement piece that is sure to brighten up your day.

The saying “less is more” definitely comes into play with this look. The kimono is the star so it’s important not to add anything that could potentially compete. For me, my go-to is always a great pair of jeans and a quality tank top. These two items provide the foundation to just about any outfit.

One of the great things about kimonos and why I love them so much is because of their versatility. You will always get your money’s worth because you can pair them with so many different things. Of course we know that jeans and a tank works, but you can also style with a fitted dress, skirt and top, and even a bathing suit. The possibilities are endless.
