One of my favorite accessories is definitely a chic, floppy hat. Hats are the ultimate quick fix for bad hair days or when you just need that extra element to take your look to the next level. They add style, character and have a certain elevated nature about them. You can rock hats with pretty much any look from the simplest to the most complex. It’s versatility allows you to think of endless outfit combinations.
I was looking for a tan hat when I discovered this one on Nordstrom’s website. Tan and brown blend together so well and can also be paired with many Fall/Winter hues. As soon as I received it in a shipment, I tried it on and loved the fit. I immediately took to my closet to see what outfits I could drum up. I discovered that this duster from Forever 21 matched the shade almost identically. I love when two things that you bought separately pair so well together that you would have thought it was intentional. My initial idea was to grab some skinny jeans and booties (of which I likely still will do). However, I saw out of the corner of my eye a dress that I bought some time ago but have not yet figured out how to style. And what do you know, it was fashion serendipity! The whole look just came together and I loved the matching tones. I finished it off with these bronze metallic pumps and the outfit was complete. Mocha latte anyone?!
