If you didn’t know already, you may know now that I have a slight obsession with blazers. They are one of the most versatile items of clothing that you can have in your closet. You can dress them up, you can dress them down and anything in between. Long gone are the days that blazers are reserved just for the office or the board room. Now, with updated, modern styles, rich colors and fun embellishments, blazers have become the go-to piece for everyone.
This double breasted blazer from Lane Bryant is no different. It screams sophisticated chic with this sleek design. The blazer is made out of ponte material which I personally love. Ponte allows the jacket to stretch and breathe so that it’s not restricting and has optimal comfort. Plus, I feel that it makes the garment much more approachable in that it will be easier to style with a wide variety of looks.
Aside from the blazer, this essential cami and denim are from Lane Bryant as well. These are two staples that should be in every woman’s wardrobe. I cannot tell you how many tank tops and camis I have because they are always needed. I also make sure that I have a variety for different pairings. It also goes without saying that you need a great pair of skinny jeans. These are perfect because they are simple and have a dark wash which means that they can be styled with just about anything under the sun.
These items together were a match made in heaven. This look is so easy to replicate yet looks so polished and refined. Be sure to check out the outfit details below and shop Lane Bryant’s newest arrivals!

Hi Kristine i love your photos i always look at your photos on Pinterest. You inspire me to do plus size modeling any advice on where to start? Do I have YouTube account? if you don’t you should think about it we need more plus size beauties like you
Kristine
Thanks so much Leesa. I actually do not model, only blog. I know it can seem like one in the same but it’s actually very different. I would recommend following some plus size models on Instagram and reaching out to them for advice. I don’t have a YouTube account but have definitely thought about starting one. Take care xoxo
I love this look Kristine. Your lipstick blends well with the color of the blazer and the buttons on the blazer match your shoes. I thought blazers would not look good on me, but when I saw how you paired them with different pieces I started buying blazers. Thanks for always keeping me updated.
Thanks so much Judy!
You look so gorgeous on your photographs, kindly avail the camera details which Steve uses to take these photos.
