One of my favorite colors to wear, especially during the Fall, is this deep, rich wine color. It is such a beautiful and striking tone that pairs beautifully with my skin tone. The added bonus is that like many of the Fall color palette, it’s highly versatile and can be worn a lot of different ways. So naturally as I was browsing online, I stopped in my tracks at this stunning pleated skirt from Modcloth. I not only loved the color, but I also thought the slight sheen that the skirt has made it look even more luxurious. Once I got it in my hands, I was not disappointed. The garment was a keeper!
Pleated skirts are a great Fall transition piece. I feel like I say the word “versatility” a lot in my posts but I think that’s a really important component when purchasing clothes. I want to be able to wear the same piece multiple times and in different ways for various occasions. You gotta get your money’s worth, right? I decoded to style this skirt for a more casual weekend look with a chambray top and leopard print accents. However, it was really a toss up on which way I wanted to build this outfit. In one pile, I had a light blush sweater and matching blush pumps. In the other, I had a black moto jacket and booties. And I could have probably come up with more combinations! The key is to make the most of your clothes so that you can look stylish without breaking the bank.

Kristine, I love the look. I enjoyed your write up. Because of you, I have learned how to shop in my closet. You have also given me so many ideas on how to use leopard print. Everything you wear is a winner in my book. That skirt is just beautiful.
Thank you so much Judy!
