Whomever created the kimono is just a brilliant life saver. This garment comes through every single time, ya hear me?! Not only can you wear kimonos all year long but there are so many different ways and variations to rock them. I love kimonos that have vibrant and colorful prints because they become a statement piece in their own right. It makes styling super easy since the statement kimono does most of the work for you. That’s the key! Because the kimono becomes the “hero” of the outfit, you don’t need many other components to complete the look and that makes for easy dressing.
So it’s no surprise that as soon as I saw this green floral kimono, I knew I had to have it. As if I didn’t already have enough of these, I thought to myself “one more can’t hurt”. Anytime you find yourself saying that in your mind, you know you’re in trouble. But nonetheless, it is a great item for Spring and it was a great price so to my home it went. As I mentioned, styling garments like these is very easy so all I had to do was pair it with a white tank top and boyfriend jeans. These are two very basic items that I’m sure everyone has in their wardrobe. The only added style element that I included was a pop of color with this neon coral purse that I already owned. It complemented & accentuated the colors and was the final component to this easy breezy outfit. I’m ready for your Spring!

I am so inspired by this website and look forward every week to what you come up with next. I love the creativity in combining colors and prints that as a full figured woman the industry says to stay away from. Although I love what has been posted for January and February, it is something that I can look forward to wearing at a later time. I live in the Midwest (specifically Chicago) and we have all four seasons. We are battling ice, snow and somewhere in between some days :). I would love to see what you can do with winter and rain boots combined with some heavier clothing .

Thanks so much Nicole! I really appreciate your message. While I would love to feature more Winter clothing in my posts, its not that practical for me since I live in Los Angeles. I don’t even own a real coat to be honest lol. There’s just no need for one here. However I do understand that this is not the case for a large majority of the country so I will see what I can find. Right now brands are turning over into Spring styles so it’s harder to find but I will keep my eye out
Styled to perfection as always, buying this look from head to toe! 💚
