Even though many of you are experiencing snow and very cold weather, Spring is inching closer and closer. Only about a month away, we can look forward to warmer temperatures, sunny skies and more colorful wardrobes. So in preparation of the upcoming season, I’ve begun to incorporate some of those Spring pieces into my Winter looks. These pieces include pastels which are the iconic colors of Spring and classic garments such as pleated skirts. I’m mixing and matching with sweaters and heavier fabrics to create some cute transitional outfits.
This ensemble seemed like the perfect blend to mesh both seasons. The turtleneck is a Winter essential and it is contrasted by the bright and colorful skirt. I live in Los Angeles where I can just pair these items with pumps but I realize that in a lot of places it is too cold to do so. However, you can still achieve this look by swapping out the pumps for knee high boots and tights underneath for layering. Then with a peacoat or duster coat for warmth, this version will be just as cute as the way I styled it. So here’s to the Springtime and warmer days ahead!

Those shoes are amazing! I can’t wait for spring and be able to wear something similar! You look amazing!
Thank you Angie!
Kristine, I love the color scheme in the skirt. The belt is different in a classy way. The black turtle neck makes the skirt really stand out. As always you wear it well.
Thanks so much Judy!
