My fashion eye has strongly gravitated towards Spring & Summer brights. While staying true to my same style and aesthetic, I have just swapped out muted colors for brighter tones. Now is the perfect time to take advantage of colors that you may not have necessarily worn otherwise. There have been many stigmas about plus size women wearing bright colors and how we should stray away from them however, that could not be more false. Colors are not indicative of size. No matter what size or shape you are, you can wear every color under the sun. Period.
So now on to this look. For my trendies that have been following me for a while, you know that I love to color block. I can go to the extreme of a complete head-to-toe color blocked look as I’ve done here or I can go the more subtle route as I’ve done here. In this instance, I let the accessories add that extra pop instead of using an actual garment. Accessories can really enhance your look and change it for the better. Yellow and pink is an unlikely yet fun combination that exemplifies Summer style. What combinations are you going to try this upcoming season?
