Kimonos are the cardigans of Spring and Summer. They provide light coverage for transitional weather and add a chic style element to your look. Kimonos are also multi-purpose items with their ability to be worn with dresses, pants and even swimwear. Their versatility is what makes them such a great piece to have in your wardrobe. What I love particularly about this kimono are the details. I’m a sucker for great details on a garment! The cool, tie dye-like print mixed with the fringe hem gives off boho chic vibes. To counteract the flowy style of the kimono, I paired it with a fitted, ruched body-con dress. If you will remember, I wore this same dress in olive last month as you can see here. The fit was so great that I ordered it in white as well. Normally, I do not wear too many white garments, however, this dress is so well constructed that it makes it easy to wear. With a double layer of fabric, this dress provides ample support and helps to minimize your midsection. I don’t know about you but I’m all about those fringe benefits!   2. You make that dress look so good! But did you find that the fabric was maybe a little thin? I was reading the reviews on the site and some say yes some say no…

    • Thank you! This particular dress is great because its double layered. You can easily see through white fabric so that’s important. However, some of the darker colors are not double layered so I can see why there would be mixed reviews. Hope that helps

  4. That dress is everything! I embrace my curves but I want to step out of my comfort zone and try a body con dresses and tge way you style your outfits inspires me to do that. I love your style.
