I recently went on the ultimate island vacation to Providenciales, Turks & Caicos for a birthday celebration. I have had Turks & Caicos on my travel wish list for quite some time, so I just knew that would be the perfect place to celebrate another year around the sun. I brought along with me my closest family and friends and it made it one of the most memorable getaways yet! 

Turks & Caicos lives up to ALL the hype. It is one of the most beautiful places that I have been to. Here's a Turks & Caicos travel guide of all of the things that I did while on the island. Enjoy!

Where to Stay: Turks & Caicos Private Villa

Since there was 7 of us traveling, I decided to search for a house that we could all stay in together. Luckily, I found the most perfect private villa on Airbnb. It could not have been more stunning and functional for our group. It featured 4 bedrooms, each with their own bathrooms (amazing for couples), along with a picturesque backyard that backed right up to the Leeward Canal.

Our villa was very close to pretty much everything that we did. It had easy access to Grace Bay beach and took us no more than 10 minutes to get to restaurants and bars. It was also equipped with paddle boards and kayaks, which I loved! Since you are on a canal, it's great to explore on calm waters.

What to do: Turks & Caicos Activities

Since it was my birthday, I knew that I wanted to do something over the top. I came across The Looking Glass and could not book my reservation fast enough! How many times can you say that you did a drone photoshoot in a clear kayak on a tropical island?! I could not pass up the opportunity. You get so much value with almost 300 images that they send to you right on the spot! You can do the shoot by yourself, or as a couple.

RENT. A. BOAT.

If there is one recommendation that I have to say you must do, it's to do a private charter boat. If you have the means, it is well worth it! We had such an amazing time on Poseidon Charters for a 5 hour boat ride. There's nothing like being on a beautiful vessel, cruising the most stunning waters, and turning up with your friends. We cranked the music all the way up, we danced, we ate, we drank, we snorkeled, we relaxed...it was everything.

I cannot say enough good things about Poseidon Charters! They truly went above and beyond. Communication was easy and seamless, they were very accommodating to our party and our needs, and even got me a birthday cake with my name on it!

What to Eat: Turks & Caicos Restaurants

Truthfully, I need another trip to explore the restaurants more. There were quite a bit to choose from that I'm sure we haven't even scratched the surface. You can explore everything from beachside cafes to upscale fine dining. For my birthday dinner, we went to Infiniti Restaurant & Raw Bar. The food was delicious and it was such great vibes. 

We did not have one bad meal the entire time on the island! Other restaurants that we visited included:

    Aziza (amazing vibes and music. Turns into a lounge/club at night with a great atmosphere)

    Pelican Bay Restaurant & Bar (happy hour that includes Hennessy Margaritas! Plus the oxtail risotto is so delicious.)

    Da Conch Shack (perfect beachside eatery!)

    Grace Cottage Restaurant

    • You are so welcome! Omg you are going to have the BEST time. Get a reservation for Aziza around 9pm! That way you get to have dinner and you’ll have a seat as it starts to transition into the lounge
