Easter Chic

Happy Resurrection Sunday! Today, out of all days, I had to put on my Sunday’s best in honor of Easter. I remember when I was younger, preparing for Easter Sunday was a big deal. My sister and I are only a year apart but when it came to dressing, we were practically twins because my mom would always dress us alike. The dress, the shoes, the coordinating socks, the hair accessories – all of it was carefully planned out and styled to perfection. And even though I am grown adult now, I still carry that with me and put together an outfit especially for this day.

One of my favorite items for church are full midi skirts. I think that they are the perfect blend of chic style and femininity. Not to mention they are such a classic silhouette so they will never go out of style and can be worn for many other occasions as well. This black and white print just spoke to me as soon as I saw it. I loved how simple it was in nature but still made a statement. I knew that it would be just perfect. I decided to pair it with an off the shoulder top which I know not everyone is comfortable wearing. You can easily swap that out for just a plain black top and it will still look great. With simple black accessories and a little bit of bling with my earrings, my Easter outfit was complete! Enjoy today my loves!
