Slay Bells Ring

Merry Christmas Eve my loves! What a blessing it is to see another holiday season and to be able to spend time with those you love. And while I know we are all running around buying last minute gifts and preparing for Christmas, it’s so important to take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of the holidays. It’s about giving, showing kindness and loving one another. It’s funny how differently I view Christmas as opposed to when I was younger. It used to be all about the gifts, am I right? Who got me what and is it what I put on my Christmas list. Now, I could care less if I don’t get a thing because I realize what is most important in life. The important moments are when we hold hands and pray as a family each saying what we are thankful for. Or the moment where we laugh because we can never remember how to slice the turkey the right way. Or simply laughing and talking around the table. Those are the times that I cherish because life is unpredictable and tomorrow is not promised. Gifts are great but the real gift cannot be bought.
