One of the things that I try to display with my blog is how putting together outfits doesn’t have to be a daunting task. Although it can seem overwhelming finding stylish garments to wear on a regular basis, it is possible to do it with a relative amount of ease. The key is to invest (pun intended) in simple yet staple pieces that you can get a lot of use out of. Although we all love an ultra-fabulous outfit, those aren’t always practical. I would venture to say that the majority of us dress casually more often then not. So it’s great to have some go-to pieces that you can throw on and it always look stylish.

This is one of those looks that takes little to no effort to put together. Waterfall dusters and vests are my secret weapon when it comes to easy styling. The draping effect does all of the work for you so that you don’t need to add much else. Olive is a great color to wear all year long and can be paired in a variety of ways. Since this is a more casual look, I went with my favorite white tank top (also another staple), boyfriend jeans and brown accessories. Simple, stylish and comfortable – just how I like it!
